The third edition of the Entebbe Christmas Cup will officially kick off on Thursday, 24th October 2024 at Nkumba primary school playground (Kataka)
Entebbe Police and Team Allan will square up in a group A duel.
This after a week after the official tournament launch at Ponus Restaurant in Nkumba.
With the official tournament sponsor city lawyer Derrick Mulumbi (Counsel Derrick), the other partners include Awel Tours and Travel Agency as well as the latest stakeholder in Nkumba Model primary school.

“Nkumba Model primary school is glad to join hands with the organizers of the 2024 Entebbe Christmas Cup. We remained inclined towards supporting of this sports tournament” Musa Kirunda, director of Nkumba Model Primary School.
Kirunda was flanked by the school co-director Charles Jawaconga, head teacher Laila Namagala and Ramathan Kasirye, the tournament main organizer.
The final will be played on this year’s Christmas Day (25th December 2025).

The tournament is open to all categories of players (those with FUFA licenses in various divisions) with the key objectives of providing entertainment to the masses, identifying talented players and promoting them.
Awards and Prizes:
The winning team will smile home with a bull, gold medals and a glittering trophy.
A goat, silver medals and a ball will go to the second placed team.
The tournament top scorer will take home a TV flat screen.
The top four teams (all semi-finalists) will receive a set of new jerseys.

Groups:
There are four pools in this tournament; A, B, C and D.
Group A has Entebbe Police, Team Allan, Tanda and B-13.
In group B; there is Busabala United, Monaco, May Christian College Nkumba and Five Stars.
Katabi Boda, Garuga Stars, Down Town and Bread House.
Pool D has Elite Stars, Kabale A, Mpala Parish and Falcon.
