Vipers SC 2-1 Police

Allan Okello scored a brace to propel Vipers to the top of the Premier League table after a hard fought 2-1 win over visiting Police at Kitende.

The talented attacker capitalised on an error from the Cops as they were caught out playing from the back to slot home the opener in the 9th minute and got the winner eight minutes to time to turn Brian Obedi wonder goal at the stroke of halftime into a mere consolation.

Vipers had several opportunities to score but were denied by Edward Kasibante in Police goal while right back Brian Eragu cleared off the line in the second half.

The Cops, whose unbeaten run ended were left furious towards the end of the game when referee Rajab Bakasambe waved their appeals for set piece opportunities on the edge.

Vipers move to 13 points from six games, one game more than both KCCA and NEC who are in action on Saturday.
