2024-2025 Rwanda Premier League (Match day 16):

The second round of the 2024-2025 Rwanda Premier League continued with four matches on Saturday, 8th February 2025.
APR recovered from a goal down to outsmart Kiyovu Sports 2-1 at the Kigali Pele Stadium in Nyamirambo, Kigali city.
Denis Omedi scored both goals for APR during the well-attended match.
The first of Omedi’s brace arrived in the 25th minute with the second goal coming four minutes to the half time whistle.
Omedi has now scored three goals since making that move from Uganda’s Kitara football club.
Former Sports Club Villa play-maker Hakim Kiwanuka also started the game for APR as Tadeo Lwanga was among the substitutes.
Last week, APR won the Heroes cup following a mouth-watering penalty victory over Police as normal time had ended goal-less.
APR has now attained 34 points, two shy from leaders Rayon Sports.
Rayon Sports will host Musanze on Saturday, 9th February 2025.
Meanwhile, Rutsiro and Police shared the spoils in a non-scoring stalemate at Rubavu stadium.
Police is home to two Ugandans; Allan “Dancing Rasta” Kateregga and Ashraf Mandela.
Mukura Victory, home to goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato edged Muhazi United 1-0 at the Huye stadium.
Sunzu Bonheur scored the all-important goal in the 78th minute.
Ssebwato captained Mukura Victory to this much desired home win.
AS Kigali pipped Bugesera 1-0 whilst Vision lost at home 1-2 to Gorilla.
Match day 16 resumes on Sunday, 9th February 2025 with three matches.
Marine plays host to Gasogi United, Amagaju entertains Etincelles and table leaders Rayon Sports will be home against Musanze.
