There were enticing prizes on the course and off (on the 19th hole) with co-sponsor Toyota staking a car (Suzuki Grand Vitara) on the par-3 hole number two and a Yamaha bike on any par-3 scored on the day.
The car and bike remained unclaimed for failure to hit the ace.

Entebbe Club chairperson Eng. Jacob Byamukama lauded all the golfers who took part in the qualification round.
In the same vein, Eng. Byamukama was full of praise for the sponsors and partners that make that match play championship tick.
“I thank you all the golfers who played in the qualification round. Entebbe Club is always glad to have you. This remains one of our signature events on the calendar. I thank Stanbic Bank in a special way and all the other partners; Uganda Airlines, DSTV for business, Afrisafe, Toyota and Uganda Breweries Limited for joining hands” Eng. Byamukama stated.

None paired golfers featured in the subsidiary cluster and the top golfers won varying prizes.
Michael Ouma and the band entertained the golfers and other guests during the 19th hole celebrations.
Meanwhile, this year the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) cause attached to the Stanbic match play golf challenge is to assist Entebbe Hospital.
“I thank Entebbe Club, Stanbic Bank and all sponsors and all the golfers for the charity to contribute to a good cause. Entebbe Hospital serves a population of about 4.3 million people from the areas of Entebbe, Kalangala, Wakiso, Nakaseke, Gomba, Butambala, Mpigi and Ssese. We need to equip the incubator section and buy more delivery beds for the mothers” Dr John Bosco Nsubuga, Director Entebbe Regional Referral Hospital hinted.
8th March 2025 will make the first round of this challenge.
The winning pair at the grand finale will earn fully paid for return air tickets to Dubai.
