Paige VanZant threw away her chances at a second win in Power Slap.
The MMA star went slap for slap with Chelsea Dodson, wife of UFC icon John Dodson, on Thursday night but they couldn’t be separated on the scorecards.

Both women wore each other’s shots well but it was an illegal clubbing blow in the second round that cost VanZant the fight.
A clubbing blow is any strike that occurs outside of the target area or a shot that is not a permitted slap.
The target area is the heel of the hand below the opponent’s chin.
VanZant managed to connect with this area, however, she landed a chopping strike, which is illegal.
