Paris Saint-Germain and Stade de Reims will go head-to-head for the Coupe de France at the iconic Stade de France on Saturday evening.
PSG are aiming to defend the title they won last season and lift the trophy for a record-extending 16th time. Reims, meanwhile, are chasing their first Coupe de France triumph since 1958 and are appearing in their first final since 1977.

Paris Saint-Germain vs Reims predictions
Under the guidance of Luis Enrique, PSG have already secured the Ligue 1 title and the Trophée des Champions this season. The Parisians are now aiming to complete a domestic treble.
In European competition, PSG have reached the UEFA Champions League final, set to take place on the following Saturday in Munich. In the showpiece event, they will take on Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan. This marks PSG’s second appearance in the Champions League final, having previously lost to Bayern Munich in 2020.
Domestically, PSG have been dominant. They won Ligue 1 by 19 points, only losing twice all season. In the cup, things haven’t been much different, with PSG again the superior force.
Paris began their cup run with a penalty shootout win over RC Lens in the Round of 64, after a 1–1 draw in normal time. They followed that with a 4-2 victory away at FC Espaly in the Round of 32, and a 2-0 win over Le Mans in the Round of 16.
In the quarter-finals, PSG produced a dominant 7-0 performance against Stade Briochin. Their semi-final against second-tier Dunkerque proved more challenging, but they came from 2-0 down to win 4-2, with Ousmane Dembélé scoring twice to lead the comeback.
Stade de Reims finished the Ligue 1 season in 16th place, narrowly avoiding automatic relegation but landing in a promotion/relegation playoff against FC Metz.
A turbulent league campaign led to a managerial change in February, with Luka Elsner departing and Samba Diawara stepping in as head coach. Under Diawara’s guidance, Reims managed to steady their form, but not enough to escape the playoff.
The first leg of the tie ended in a 1-1 draw on Wednesday, leaving everything to play for in the decisive second leg next Thursday at Reims’ Stade Auguste-Delaune II.
In stark contrast to their league struggles, Reims have enjoyed a remarkable run in the Coupe de France. They opened with a 3-1 victory over Still-Mutzig, before edging past Monaco, FC Bourgoin-Jallieu, and Angers – all via penalty shootouts.
A 2-1 win over fourth-tier AS Cannes in the semi-final booked their place in the French Cup final for the first time since 1977. But with their Ligue 1 future still on the line, there’s a real question as to whether Thursday’s playoff second leg might take precedence over Saturday’s showpiece final at the Stade de France.

Paris Saint-Germain vs Reims betting tips
Both teams have bigger matches on the horizon. This plays into PSG’s hands with their superior squad. The bookies can only see Paris winning the cup, Luis Enrique’s team are just 1/20 to lift the trophy, while 11/1 is available on Reims to pull off a shock victory. Our match betting tips follow:
PSG to win HT/FT
With the Champions League final looming, we expect Luis Enrique’s side to come out firing, aiming to settle this contest early. A fast start would allow the Spanish coach to rotate his squad in the second half, preserving key players for the bigger challenge ahead.
PSG are the overwhelming favourites to lift the trophy, and while backing them at 4/9 in the HT/FT market isn’t exceptional value, it’s a far more attractive option than the 1/11 available on a victory inside 90 minutes.
Back PSG to be leading at half time and winning at full time at 4/9 with Tote
Ousmane Dembélé to score anytime
There’s not much more that can be said about the season this guy is having.
Along with Raphinha at Barcelona, Ousmane Dembélé has been one of the stand out players in Europe this season – particularly since the turn of the year.
In total, the Frenchman has scored 33 goals and provided 13 assists in his 47 appearances in all competitions. All that really remains for him to do is score in both his upcoming finals and maybe land the Ballon d’Or.
Back Ousmane Dembélé to score anytime at 8/11 with Betfred
PSG to score over 2.5 goals
We’ve already pointed out that we expect PSG to be fast out of the blocks. As a result, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Parisians are a couple of goals ahead at half time.
Furthermore, with the second leg of their promotion/relegation playoff on the horizon, there is every chance Reims will raise the white flag and save themselves for their survival match once they know the game is up in the final.
This should open the door for Paris to land a couple of late blows and increase the scoreline. PSG are 13/8 to score four or more if you are feeling really bullish. We’re sticking with three.
Back PSG to score three or more goals at 4/6 with Midnite
