Partnerships: Arua Hill Sports Club, Light Ray Uganda seal pact for medical services

Under a new management, a rebranded Arua Hill Sports Club continues to establish and acquire a presentable new face.

Now based in Gulu city, Northern Uganda, Arua Hill Sports Club penned a long-term Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Light Ray Uganda, a non-Governmental organization.

Light Ray Uganda will provide all the medical services as first aid, treatment, routine health checks, dental services to the players and staff of the club.

The organization will also offer Ambulance services to the club as well as a medical camp for football fans during the home games.

Ceaser Nyeko Otto, the new Arua Hill Sports Club chairman believes that this partnership will steer the club to greater heights, towards achieving their sporting goals both in the short- and long-term periods.

I am really very happy on behalf of Arua Hill Sports Club that today we are making history together with Light Ray Uganda. We are delighted with the medical sponsorship offered to the club, and this will be very important to the club going forward.

Director of Light Ray Uganda Rath Heike vows that the organization which owns Light Ray Health Center will provide quality health services to Arua Hill Sports Club since health is their priority.

Together with the team at Light Ray Uganda, we are very honored to partner with Arua Hill and we promised to give the best medical service because we feel as Light Ray Uganda that health should be our priority.

For starters, Arua Hill Sports Club was relegated to the FUFA Big league last season after a board room decision by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) after failing the mandatory licensing protocols before the commencement of the second round.

This term, Arua Hill Sports Club will host their home matches at the Pece War Memorial Stadium in Gulu city.

For the 2024-2025 season, Arua Hill Sports Club commences the season on the road with an away contest against Blacks Power at the Aki Bua Memorial stadium in Lira city.

The team has already acquired the services of several tried and tested players as former Kitara and UPDF midfielder Luwalo Kipper, Simon Okot, Ivan Oceng, Gerrald Ronald Kirya, Umar Mukobe, goalkeeper Salim Munaku Wekiya, Victor Dickens Kilama, Nicholas Luzige, Charles Bob Akena, Godfrey Mwaka, George Akena, Brian Odong, among others.
