Shedeur Sanders has gone undrafted through the first three rounds.
Something that seemed inconceivable and impossible 48 hours ago.
Sanders was believed to be QB2 of the draft.
Now he has sat by his phone over the last two days, watching five other quarterbacks drafted before him.
And everyone is speechless.
Patrick Mahomes managed to only get one word out, as the Cleveland Browns shockingly took Dillon Gabriel with the 94th pick over Sanders.
“Crazy,” Mahomes wrote on X.
Stephen A. Smith also couldn’t believe it.
“This is a damn disgrace,” Smith posted on X.
“How in the hell is Shedeur not off the board, not drafted yet. Y’all still think this doesn’t have anything to do with teams hatin on Deion Sanders.
“This kid is a first rounder. In a different way, this is Kaepernick all over again…..being kept out.
“A damn disgrace. I don’t care what anyone says!”
Robert Griffin III also took to X to express his disbelief.
“Shedeur Sanders not being drafted in the first 3 rounds of the NFL Draft is ridiculous,” Griffin wrote.
The Las Vegas Raiders had back-to-back picks at the end of the third round, which many believed would be where minority owner Tom Brady used his influence to select Sanders, but the silver and black went elsewhere.
