The Premier League Player of the Year will be crowned this year for the 2024/25 season with the odds heavily in favour of Liverpool.
Mohamed Salah is the clear leader in the betting at 1/3 as he has set the bar even higher on his eighth season with the club, being involved in 32 goals in just 22 appearances helping to assert Liverpool’s place at the top of the Premier League table.

Teammate Virgil van Dijk is fourth favourite to pick up the award at 16’s, as the Dutch defender has put in a solid season at the back helping Liverpool defend a multitude of victories.
Cole Palmer is the closest betting rival to Salah, yet is still as big as 5/1 in the odds to receive the accolade.
Palmer would likely be much shorter in the odds had Chelsea continued to vie for the Premier League title, with the England midfielder scoring 14 and assisting six in just 23 appearances.
Last season he had an average of a goal involvement per game with 22 goals and 11 assists in 33 appearances, all in his first season as a Blues player.
At just 22-years-old he’s got a long potential career at Stamford Bridge and is likely to continue adding to his playmaking this season with yet more goals and assists and creativity helping Chelsea at every level.
In most other seasons the England attacking mid and winger would be much higher in the betting or at least much shorter odds, but Salah is just having that good of a season with no one really coming close.
There are a few big priced outsiders that could be smashed in in the odds if they have an incredible rest of the season, which you can’t really rule them out of.
That comes in the form of City pair Erling Haaland and Phil Foden.
City often finish well in the Premier League and despite having one win in ten in all competitions at their worst stage of the season, could go on to challenge for at least the top two again.
That is of course if those two players continue with the form they’ve hit recently.
Haaland keeps getting goals while Foden has also returned to the score sheet after a dismal run without scoring or assisting much, especially in comparison to what was expected of him.
At 40/1 many might be keen to take a punt on either player, but it’s hard to imagine Liverpool will fall off now under Arne Slot.
