In his debut campaign, the then-17-year-old beat Luke Humphries 11-7 in the final to win and remains the star to beat in 2025.

Littler topped the standings after Night 16 in Sheffield, with world number one ‘Cool Hand’, Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price his challengers to be crowned champion in London.

Premier League Darts Finals Night: Prize money

The total prize pot for the Premier League this year is £1million, with the winner of the final pocketing £275,000.

The runner-up will earn £125,000, but the four to reach Finals Night, Littler, Humphries, Aspinall, and Price, are guaranteed at least £85k.

That is the prize for the two losing semi-finalists, on top of the additional £10,000 handed out to each of the weekly winners.

Littler, with six nightly wins during the regular season, earned £60k – double Humphries and Price’s amount, with Aspinall taking £20k.

Stephen Bunting took home £70,000 total for finishing bottom with one nightly win, with Rob Cross earning £5k less (£65,000 finish).

Chris Dobey boosted his coffers by £80,000 (£70k + £10k), while Michael van Gerwen was awarded £75,000 for claiming fifth spot.

Finally, Premier League sponsors have issued a set of 18-carat gold darts worth £30,000 for every nine-darter hit.

Price has hit two perfect legs this season, while playoff rivals Littler and Humphries, in addition to Cross, have all managed one each.
