Mbale Municipal stadium – 3pm
Fireworks is expected at the Municipal stadium in Mbale as topflight football returns to the city for the first time in 18 years when hosts Mbale Heroes take on champions SC Villa.
Matches between the two sides in the past were always charged with either fan base desperate and at times, they would end in violence.

The Jogoos should expect nothing but a hostile environment as the hosts seek to pick their first win of the campaign after a narrow defeat against another giant, Express FC on match day one despite the dominant side.
In Davis Sekajja, skipper Abdul Maliki Bironse and goalkeeper Delton Oyo, Richard Malinga has three former Villa players with knowledge of how the Jogoos operate and this adds more to the fixture as the trio will look to prove a point against their former bosses who let them go.
“Our preparations have been good and we expect nothing but maximum points to give our fans the happiness they deserve,” said Sekajja before calling them in large numbers.
Villa who opened the campaign with a 4-2 win over Mbarara City are aware of the threat the Heroes pose especially at their home but in Patrick Kakande, Arnold Odong and Elvis Ngonde among others, they have cool heads who can silence the hosts.
