A video has emerged appearing to show Premier League referee David Coote making foul-mouthed comments about Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp.
The Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) – the body responsible for overseeing match officials – have launched an investigation after footage was widely circulated on social media.
Coote is regarded as one of the top match officials in the country, where he recently officiated Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
But he has found himself in hot water following a leaked video which appears to show him launching an X-rated rant towards former Reds boss Klopp.
In the clip, Coote labels the legendary boss as a ‘German c***’, while also branding him as ‘arrogant’.
