Liverpool cruised their way into the round of 16 winning their first seven games of the group stage before losing 3-2 in their final game against PSV having already secured top spot.
PSG have won all but one of their games since the turn of the year and are unbeaten at home in the league this season with their only home loss in all competitions coming against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League Group stage.
After a rough start to their Champions League campaign, picking up only four points in their first five fixtures, PSG have since shown they are still the threat everyone thought they would be.
Beating RB Salzburg, Manchester City and VfB Stuttgart to secure their place in the play-off round before following that up with a dominant performance against Brest winning 10-0 on aggregate in the Knockout Play-off round.
The two teams most recent fixtures came in the 2018 Champions League group stage where Liverpool won by two goals to nil at Anfield before PSG returned the favour winning 3-2 at the Parc des Princes.
