“On Thursday, 27 February, police arrested two men in their late teens on suspicion of voyeurism,” the statement read.

“This follows a report of an incident which took place at a nightclub in Kingston on Wednesday, 5 February.

“Both suspects remain in custody and enquiries are ongoing. The victim continues to be supported by specialist officers.”

QPR confirmed they were ‘aware of an alleged incident’.

“The individuals are helping police with their enquiries,” a club statement read.

“As this is an ongoing investigation, the club will not be making any further comment at this time.”

Voyeurism is defined as the activity of getting pleasure from secretly watching other people in sexual situations or from watching other people’s private lives.

The crime is punishable by up to two years’ imprisonment.

The arrests took place just two days before QPR host Championship high-flyers Sheffield United at Loftus Road on Saturday.

The west London outfit go into the clash on the back of two defeats from their last three.

QPR’s latest outing was a 2-1 loss away to Portsmouth last Saturday.

The result left Marti Cifuentes’ side 14th in the Championship on 44 points, six away from sixth-placed Blackburn Rovers.

A win over the second-placed Blades on Saturday could lift QPR up to 12th, depending on results elsewhere.

Sheffield United travel to west London on the back of a 3-1 loss to league leaders Leeds United on Monday.

The Blades conceded in the 89th and 90th minutes to taste defeat in the league for the first time since January 24.
