Rangers seemed like they had a semblance of a chance of catching Celtic who are on a huge unbeaten run in the Scottish Premiership.
But they’ve lost and drawn in their last two while Celtic have only conceded four – scoring as many as 52 across 16 wins and two draws.
Rangers on the other hand, have won 11, but lost as many as four already to make it an almost impossible task to catch up with Celtic.
They are now 14 points adrift of their fierce rivals but did take them to an entertaining 3-3 draw in the Scottish League Cup final, before losing on penalties, just a couple of weeks ago.
In that clash, Rangers opened the scoring via Nedim Bajrami, before Celtic not only came up with a reply but also took the lead within four minutes in the second half.
Rangers found an equaliser to make it 2-2 before Celtic looked like they found a late winner in the 87th minute – only for Danilo to immediately respond with an equaliser to take it to eventually take it to pens.
No matter what though, both teams will go all-out in this clash to get one over on their rivals.

Both teams to score in both halves is often a long shot but it was close to coming off in this clash just a couple of weeks ago.
Celtic scored three in the second half and could easily score in both given their form against Rangers and in the league so far.
Going unbeaten for so long is a tough feat, but now going up against their main rivals it will mean a lot more away from home, but much tougher to achieve.
Rangers could surprise them as they did in the Scottish Cup, with the odd goal in both halves.
