Real Madrid vs Arsenal prediction
Kylian Mbappé has been directly involved in eight goals in eight knockout stage games against English sides in the UEFA Champions League.
With seven goals and one assist including five in four home outings (four goals, one assist) which bodes well for them going into this game.
Vinicius Jr is now on 28 goals and 21 assists and could become just the fourth Real Madrid player to reach 50 goal involvements in the Champions League.
He would join incredible company too: Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Raúl).
This would be at least twice as many as any other team (Lewandowski and Müller for Bayern).
Arsenal were succinct and well organised in defence against Real Madrid last week at the Emirates.
Eduardo Camavinga being absent after being sent off in the 94th minute last week is a bit of a blow to add to Real Madrid’s misfortune as they look to overcome a 3-0 deficit.
Real Madrid vs Arsenal betting tips
Declan Rice was the reason Arsenal are 3-0 ahead going into the second leg which does mean this game could go either way, with Madrid often able to produce the unthinkable.
In the first leg of this tie, Myles Lewis-Skelly became only the third English teenager to assist a goal in a UEFA Champions League knockout stage match.
All three players come from Arsenal too; Theo Walcott in 2008 (vs Milan and Liverpool), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2012 (vs Milan) and Myles Lewis-Skelly in 2025 (vs Real Madrid).
However, Arsenal will do well in defence and be able to soak up some pressure with their winning margin a big safety net and can then pounce if Madrid go for it in attack, on the counter.
Similarly, if Madrid do get an early goal the pressure could rise – either way though, there should be plenty of goals in this with a lot of action too.
