Chris Eubank Jr has accepted Eddie Hearn’s £1million bet on his upcoming clash with Conor Benn.
Hearn initially offered the wager to Eubank Jr’s promoter, Ben Shalom, ahead of the April 26 domestic dust-up at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but the BOXXER chief didn’t want to part with seven figures.

Midway through an interview with iFL TV last week, Shalom asked Hearn whether he would be willing to put money on his man getting his hand raised next month.
Hearn was all too happy to oblige: “Yeah, of course.”
When asked how much money he wanted to put on the line, Shalom responded: “I know that Eddie knows, he’s just given me £100,000.”
Hearn, not one for backing down, added: “Not at all. We can have a bigger bet.
“We can have £1million, in escrow tomorrow morning… on the fight.”
Taken aback by Hearn’s offer, Shalom said: “You’re going to bet £1m on Connor Benn?
“Listen, he’s [Hearn] got billions, he’s inherited a lot of money.”
Shalom might not fancy the bet, but Eubank Jr certainly does.
‘Next Gen’ has been trading barbs with Hearn throughout the build-up to his grudge match with Benn, and is relishing the idea of getting one over the Matchroom Chairman.
“Come on Eddie, a million quid, yeah?” he said in a video posted to is social media platforms.

“Okay, let’s find out if you are a man of your word or just a lying hype job.
“I formally accept your £1million bet. And the £1million will be our own personal money, not company money or purse money.
“Just a straight-up between me and you. The money will go into escrow and the winner takes all.
“Now I look forward to watching you try to weasel yourself out of this bet like the rodent I know you are.”
Benn was the first to respond to Eubank Jr’s video.
“You need to pay your 7 figure debts to @NeymarJrSite before you worry about any other bets you melt,” he tweeted in reference to Eubank Jr’s poker games with the Santos forward.
