Roy Keane jokingly gave Sky Sports presenter Kelly Cates his famous death stare after her cheeky jibe at his expense.

The former Man United midfielder was sporting a lovely brown cardigan, but Cates couldn’t help but label him ‘Cardi B’ during coverage of Manchester United’s clash at home to Chelsea on Sunday.

Whether he knows who the American rapper Cardi B is remains a mystery but in typical Keane fashion he showed his serious persona in immediate reaction to Cates’ comments. He did smile for a split second though.

Cardi B, named Belcalis Marlenis Cephus is a 32-year-old hip-hop artist most known for her singles ‘I like it’ and ‘Bodak Yellow’

Cates’ joke did get a laugh out of pundits Frank Lampard and Jamie Redknapp.

The joke was an attempt to bring some life to a match that had its frustrations for both sides as they each hit the woodwork.

Marcus Rashford was next on the stroke of half-time with a side footed volley from a deep and swerving Bruno Fernandes cross.

The second half was more entertaining, however, with Fernandes giving the home side the lead after Rasmus Hojlund was tripped by Blues goalkeeper Robert Sanchez on 70 minutes.

But Chelsea hit back just four minutes later through an expertly taken volley by Moises Caicedo from the edge of the box after Man United only partly cleared away the danger from a free-kick.

With both sides hoping to attain European football they will fight tooth and nail for the three points.
