The Uganda Volleyball Fraternity calls on everyone to join them in supporting the treatment of Elyon’s young player, Silver Owinjo.
Owinjo sustained a serious leg injury, fracturing a bone during Elyon’s 3-0 loss to Nemostars.
The injury will unfortunately sideline him as he recovers from the fracture.
As the National Volleyball League resumes today, Nemostars has announced that all proceeds from the today’s game will be donated to Elyon Volleyball Club to aid Owinjo’s treatment.
“As many of you know, Silver Owinjo suffered an injury that will require time, care, and support to heal. We are asking for your help to aid his recovery process,” the statement reads.
A donation box will be set up to collect contributions that will go directly towards medical expenses and rehabilitation.
Together, we can help Owinjo get back on his feet and return to the game stronger than ever. No amount is too small; let’s join hands to ensure that the Simba returns to the court.
