When you are one of the greatest Olympic athletes of all-time, you get your own tour across America, that’s how it works.
Fresh off of her 2024 Paris Olympics performance, where she won three golds and one silver, Simone Biles is going on the road for her ‘Gold Over America Tour’ – aka GOAT Tour, as in the Greatest of All Time.
The 2024 Gold Over America Tour is the second gymnastics-themed touring show headlined by BilesINSTAGRAM @SIMONEBILES
The tour consists of a 30-city arena tour where Biles and her Olympians Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera, Paul Juida and Brody Malone, among others, put on a two-hour show that is billed as “an exhilarating display of jaw-dropping athleticism and high-energy choreography.”
The “pop concert-style spectacle” serves as a blank canvas for Biles and her star-studded cast to showcase their gymnastics mastery and creativity.
This is the second edition of the tour, as Biles ran the original following the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, where she focused on promoting the importance of mental health.
This time around there may be a special guest star that pops up on the tour this week.
And if you’re a Chicago Bears fan, you will probably recognize him.
Biles posted an Instagram story while getting a piggyback ride from Bears safety, Jonathan Owens, aka Biles’ husband, with the caption ‘guest star on tour this week.’
Owens and the Bears are coming off of a dominant overseas victory in London over the Jacksonville Jaguars, 35-16 and now get to enjoy the week off during their bye week.
And it looks like Owens is going to be spending his time off on the GOAT tour alongside his 11-time Olympic medal-winning wife.
Sitting at 4-2 going into the bye, Owens will be all smiles, as the Bears have picked up their play in recent weeks.
In large part due to starting quarterback Caleb Williams beginning to find his groove, the Bears now sit firmly in the postseason hunt.

However, for just this week, Owens isn’t safety for the Chicago Bears, but rather biggest supporter and husband to Biles.
In an interview with Olympics.com, Biles expressed her excitement and reason of going on tour.
“To just have fun and do what you love and just have confidence,” Biles said.
“Obviously, we wanted to share that story of ‘it’s okay to not be okay,’” Biles said.
“But this one is the outcome of putting in that work, taking care of yourself, and where it gets you.
“It’s just what happens after you take care of yourself and the success that brings.
“And so I think that’s the exciting part about the story and what the show brings.”

The GOAT Tour will run all the way through November 3, where Biles and her friends will take their final bow in Detroit, Michigan.
Until then, they have stops in Kansas City, Austin, Houston, Cleveland, Cincinnati and a handful of other big cities.
Owens won’t be able to see all the shows, but for this week, he’ll able to be by her side and support his GOAT wife.
