Steph Curry’s Olympic debut was either the stuff of dreams or nightmares, depending on which side of the court you were on.

The NBA icon got better and better throughout the tournament and saved his best for last.

Buoyed by a home crowd, hosts France wouldn’t go down without a fight in the final and brought the score within two possessions.

But Curry took over, draining shot after shot from beyond the arc to finish with 24 points, five assists, and eight three-pointers.

His last effort — hit while falling away from two defenders — was a dagger to the heart of the French.

The Golden State Warriors hero celebrated with his iconic ‘Night Night’ celebration as the arena erupted and the USA bench cleared.

Curry looked back on his Golden moment in the new Netflix documentary ‘Court of Gold.’

“The night night was pretty crazy, I held it for a very long time,” he began.

“F****** Steph Curry, Jesus Christ,” he exclaimed.

“To have one on that set, on that stage,” Curry continued. “I got a cool picture that I have, I’ll put it up in my house somewhere.

“You got an essence of the whole arena and me just in my own world, celebrating the moment, so it’s cool.

“Obviously the shot I was like, ‘That was a pretty difficult shot that was pretty cool.’

“But then when i saw Melo (Carmelo Anthony) and his reaction when he jumped on the court and then I kinda saw the whole row and how crazy they went, that was when I kinda realized how special a moment that was.

“It was a dream come true. I was in some storybook-type stuff to have it end that way, I’ll take it that was pretty special.”

Curry’s emphatic celebration transcends borders and languages.

It has been repeated on courts and fields around the world in every sport you can think of.

But just to make sure his message wasn’t lost in translation, Curry trolled the Paris 2024 hosts in their own language.

He was filmed wearing a hoodie with the Eiffel Tower emblem and the phrase ‘Nuit, Nuit (night, night in French)’ across his chest.

Curry hit four three pointers in just over two minutes to close out a 98-87 victory on the Olympic final.

“A big shot to put us up six. That kind of settled everything,” he said at the time.

“And then the rhythm, the avalanche came, and thankfully the other three went in. That was an unbelievable moment.

“I’ve been blessed to play basketball at a high level for a very long time.

“This ranks very high in terms of excitement and the sense of relief, getting to the finish line.”
