talkSPORT betting tips – Best bets and expert advice for Liverpool v Tottenham

Liverpool are just a point away from securing the Premier League title with four games remaining and they are justified favourites against what has been described as the worst Tottenham Hotspur team in history.

Ange Postecoglou’s side sit a miserable 16th in the Premier League and head to Anfield in turgid domestic form, with their only hope of salvation lying in the Europa League, where they face Bodo/Glimt in the first leg of the semi-finals next week.

Liverpool v Tottenham betting tips

Bet of the day

Liverpool to win and both teams to score @ 13/10

A point would do the job for Arne Slot’s men, but the champions elect have won six of their last seven Premier League fixtures and should be backed to finish the job in style on Sunday.

The visitors will have one eye on their Europa League tie next week and they have lost four of their last five top-flight fixtures.

Defeat looks likely for the struggling side, although under-pressure manager Postecoglou should be confident of his side finding the net at Anfield.

Spurs have scored in each of their last five competitive games and the Reds have kept just three clean sheets in their last nine competitive home games.

Special of the day

Luis Diaz to score, Virgil van Dijk to have 1+ shot, and Dejan Kulusevski to commit 2+ fouls @ 4/1

Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah is a tiny price to add to his burgeoning goal tally, but Luis Diaz is arguably in better form than the Egyptian and he looks an excellent price to find the net on Sunday.

Diaz has scored in four of his last six appearances for club and country and has contributed either a goal or an assist in five of his last six top-flight appearances.

Virgil van Dijk could fancy his chances against a Lilywhites side who have conceded nine league goals from set-pieces this season.

The Liverpool centre-back has registered four attempts in his last two games and has had at least one shot in four of his last eight games for club and country.

Dejan Kulusevski could find himself racking up a less positive statistic. The Tottenham winger has committed a club-high 41 fouls in the Premier League this season and has committed at least two fouls in four of his last seven appearances, despite only starting four of those games.

Long shot of the day

Richarlison to score first @ 13/1

Richarlison has not enjoyed the best of times since his move from Everton, but the Tottenham attacker found a welcome bit of form in recent times and looks a big price to open the scoring at Anfield.

The 27-year-old Brazilian has scored in his last two appearances and all four of his Premier League goals this season have come in his last six outings.

The former Everton man will be looking to add to a decent record against Liverpool, having scored three and assisting three goals in his last six Premier League appearances against the Reds.
