Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn face off in a highly-anticipated showdown on Saturday night and there is a strong supporting cast on the undercard backing up the main event.

Chris Billam-Smith returns to the ring for the first time since losing his WBO cruiserweight world title with a tough comeback fight against Brandon Glanton, while Eubank Jr’s old foe Liam Smith takes on the unbeaten Aaron McKenna.

Viddal Riley and Cheavon Clarke meet for the British cruiserweight crown and Anthony Yarde and Lyndon Arthur complete a trilogy, with the scores level at 1-1.

Eubank Jr v Benn undercard boxing betting tip

  • Chris Billam Smith to win vs Brandon Glanton @ 5/6
  • Anthony Yarde to win in rounds 1-6 vs Lyndon Arthur @ 6/4
  • Cheavon Clarke to win by decision or technical vs Viddal Riley @ 3/1

Billam-Smith too good for Glanton

Chris Billam-Smith lost his world title with a unanimous decision defeat to Mexico’s Gilberto Ramirez back in November and is now at the start of a rebuild.

CBS claimed that title back in 2023 with a points win over Lawrence Okolie, in a bout where he floored Okolie three times. A comeback fight against the 20-2 Brandon Glanton isn’t an easy assignment for Billam-Smith, but it is a test you would expect the Bournemouth man to pass.

One of Glanton’s defeats came at the hands of David Light, who lost via a wide points decision to Okolie earlier this year and that perhaps shows that The Gentleman is a few levels above his opponent here and, as a marginal favourite, he looks good value to get the win by any method.

Yarde can power through tough Arthur

Anthony Yarde and Lyndon Arthur complete a trilogy on the undercard in a fight that could well set the winner up for a light heavyweight world title fight.

Arthur won on points the first time these two men met but Yarde was well below his best on the day, and he responded by stopping Arthur in the fourth round in the rematch.

This decider is more likely to follow a similar pattern to the second fight than the first.

Braian Nahuel Suarez, Bivol and Liam Cameron all found Arthur fairly easy to hit across his last three fights, and the Mancunian is the type of fighter who is willing to take a bit of punishment in order to get his own shots away.

Those tactics could prove costly against Yarde, who is 25-3 with 24 KOs.

Yarde has won six of his seven fights since defeat to Arthur, with his one loss since coming at the hands of Beterbiev, and five of those stoppages have come inside the first four rounds – so he is more than capable of getting a win over the line in the first half of this bout.

Underdog Clarke can outpoint Riley

Cheavon Clarke is 10-1 and is rated as the underdog ahead of his meeting with the 12-0 Viddal Riley, but he may be able to pull off a small upset in this British title bout.

Clarke was unlucky to be on the wrong end of a split decision against Leonardo Mosquea in December, whereas Riley hasn’t been involved in a bout with anyone of that kind of quality before.

Riley is unbeaten and looks a durable fighter, so it may be worth pushing this one a little further and backing Clarke to get the decision at 3/1 rather than just backing a straightforward win.
