Six weeks into the 2025 Premier League campaign and only three different players have won any of the nightly mini-leagues.
Those three, Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price, are fast-tracking their way to the play-offs and it would be no surprise if one of them struck gold once more in Cardiff on Night 7.
Tips:
- Luke Humphries to win Night 7 @ 11/4
- Chris Dobey to beat Stephen Bunting @ 20/21
- Luke Littler Over 4.5 180s v Nathan Aspinall @ 6/5
- Rob Cross to beat Gerwyn Price @ Evens

Cool Hand to silence Price partisans
The Premier League is in Cardiff where Gerwyn Price will enjoy the relative novelty of having the crowd on his side at the Utilita Arena.
Gezzy’s fans will be there in their thousands to cheer on Price, who is the only player in the field standing up to the Lukes, Littler and Humphries.
Each of the three men has two wins after six rounds with Humphries taken to be the first to reach three in South Wales.
Humphries is in the top half of the draw while Littler and Price are both in the bottom half and if Cool Hand sees off the inconsistent Michael van Gerwen in his quarter-final then everything points to him having too much for either Chris Dobey or Stephen Bunting.
Littler is 11/8 to win Night 7 and he is flying while Price has to deal with home expectations, something he failed to do last year when beaten by Michael Smith. Humphries is preferred at 11/4.
Bunting’s misery not over yet
It’s played six, lost six for Stephen Bunting and for a player who wears his heart on his sleeve like The Bullet, that spells trouble.
Last week, against Price in Nottingham, Bunting was in front and in control but a flicker of a comeback from The Icemand and the Englishman could see ‘nul point’ flashing in front of his eyes.
That adds to the weight on his shoulders and his quarter-final opponent in Cardiff, Chris Dobey, knows if he can apply just the slightest pressure, then the reality of the situation will once again kick in for Bunting.
Bunting is scoring well, playing well, hitting big finishes but he is also rock bottom – and he is painfully aware of that.
Littler can max out against The Asp
Luke Littler and Nathan Aspinall have met twice this season in the Premier League, and The Nuke has won both times.
Littler was a 6-2 winner on Night 4 in Exeter and won 6-3 the following week in the final in Brighton.
Each time the teenager rattled in five maximums and so sublime is his throw right now that it would be a shock if he didn’t nail five again.
Voltage to light up Wales
Gerwyn Price has beaten Rob Cross only twice in eight Premier League contests while he lost to Voltage in their one meeting so far this year, at the Dutch Darts Masters.
Price will have the crowd on his side and, as last Thursday’s winner, is playing well, but Voltage is throwing more than well enough to land the odds.
