With four races of the 2024 F1 season remaining the pressure is building in the Drivers’ Championship and next all eyes will be on Sunday’s Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paulo.
Red Bull’s Max Verstappen continues to lead the Drivers’ Championship, but after he finished down in sixth place at the Mexico Grand Prix following two ten-second penalties, Lando Norris has managed to narrow the gap to 47 points.
Norris battled hard with Verstappen and finished in second spot in Mexico City, and he looks capable of returning to the top of the podium at Interlagos this weekend.

Lando Norris to win @ 2/1
While the 2024 Mexican Grand Prix belonged to winner Carlos Sainz Jr, Norris came out of the race with credit after overcoming a head-to-head tussle with Verstappen to go on and claim second spot.
Next the Brit heads to Interlagos where he managed to finish in second place behind Verstappen just last season.
Both Norris and McLaren have come on leaps and bounds since their last visit to Sao Paulo and the Bristolian has the ability to go one better and take the chequered flag at Interlagos for what would be his fourth race win of the 2024 campaign.
Max Verstappen podium finish @ 10/11
While the 2024 Mexican Grand Prix will hardly live long in the memory for Verstappen, the Dutchman has pedigree at Interlagos and can respond with a podium finish this weekend.
The Red Bull ace will have fond memories of this circuit, having won the Brazilian Grand Prix in both 2019 and 2023.
Verstappen will have the Ferraris to contend with, as the Scuderia have shown significant signs of progress in recent weeks and look set to finish the season strongly.
However, if Verstappen can produce a more composed performance than some of the somewhat reckless driving witnessed in Mexico City then he looks a solid option for a podium finish on Sunday.
Pierre Gasly top-10 finish @ 11/2
Taking a closer look at the action expected further down the grid, Pierre Gasly offers an attractive price to finish among the points with a top-10 finish here.
The Alpine racer has managed to finish in the points six times already in this current campaign, while he claimed 10th spot at the Mexican Grand Prix last time out.
Gasly seems to have a liking for Interlagos, as he finished in seventh at the Brazilian Grand Prix last season, while he also landed a previous podium place on this track.
Claiming second place at the Brazilian Grand Prix in 2019, the Frenchman is fully aware of what is needed to land a podium spot at Interlagos and, while that might be a stretch for Gasly this weekend, a top-10 finish is certainly achievable.
