Bet of the day

Stoke to beat Hull – Evs

Stoke made the decision to replace manager Steven Schumacher with new boss Narcis Pelach this week and they could receive the new manager bounce when they host Hull in the Spaniard’s first game in charge.

They could not have asked for many better games to begin with than taking on a badly out of form Hull team that are winless since April.

The visitors were beaten 2-0 by Sheffield United last week and are the second-lowest scorers in the division, having netted just twice in five matches.

The arrival of a new manager can turn around a team’s fortunes in the short term and Stoke will also benefit from loanee striker Tom Cannon approaching full fitness and he can make a big impact here.

Hull have not won any of their last eight matches and that wait looks set to continue, side with the home team in this one.

Special of the Day

Bet Boost – Alaves to win and both teams to score – 4/1

Alaves ran out 4-3 winners the last time they hosted Sevilla in La Liga and they can win another game in which both teams find the net here.

The home team have a rock solid record in their own backyard, winning four of their last six on home soil and they could extend that against a Sevilla team that are badly struggling this term.

The visitors have just one win from five outings and look set for another campaign battling away at the wrong end of the table.

Both teams have found the net in five of the last seven league meetings between these sides and the same is fancied in a home win.

Longshot of the Day

Dundee United to win and both teams to score – 9/2

Dundee United put in a spirited performance against Rangers last time out, losing 1-0, and they can get immediate compensation when they visit Motherwell in the League Cup.

Before that, the Tangerines had beaten Hearts, St Johnstone and St Mirren and they face a Well side that lost 2-1 to Aberdeen last time out.

Dundee United were 2-1 winners the last time they visited Fir Park and they could come out on top of a high-scoring affair once more.

Both teams have scored in the hosts’ last four games and is taken to land in an away victory.
