talkSPORT betting tips – Best football bets and expert advice for Friday 22 November

Club football returns this weekend across Europe and there is plenty of Friday night action to get the ball rolling.

There is Championship and League 2 action in England as well as a second-tier clash in Scotland, while the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and La Liga all boast games as Europe’s big leagues swing back into action.

We have picked out our three best bets of the day.

Get 33/1 Amorim to win his first 3 games in charge of Man Utd

Bet of the day

Cheltenham Town to beat Tranmere Rovers – 11/8

Tranmere Rovers travel south to face Cheltenham Town at the EV Charger Points Stadium in League 2.

The visitors have scored just 10 league goals in 14 outings this season, leaving Nigel Adkins’ side comfortably the lowest-yielding side in the division.

By contrast, the Robins have had more different scorers (14) in their 17 games in all competitions, with five-goal Ethan Archer, who has got three in his last four, leading the way.

Cheltenham’s seven-game unbeaten streak ended last week, but only after they let slip a 2-0 lead at MK Dons, a side very much upwardly mobile and set to chase the automatic promotion places.

Boss Mike Flynn can lead his Cheltenham side to victory against goal-shy Tranmere.

Longshot of the Day

Over 2.5 Goals in Getafe vs Valladolid – 7/4

La Liga action comes from the Coliseum where second-bottom Valladolid visit fourth-bottom Getafe.

The hosts have conceded in four of their last five home games, while Valladolid have netted in seven of their last eight competitive games, despite just two wins and one draw in that run.

Facing what is La Liga’s leakiest defence, with 25 goals conceded already, the home side will want to go for this as they aim to double their tally of league wins and push clear of the bottom three.

It could be a more open contest than appears likely at first glance and over 2.5 goals is the safest option at a decent price.

Special of the Day

Plymouth to win and both teams to score – 4/1

Plymouth Argyle have been excellent at home of late, with four wins and a draw from their last five at Home Park.

However, Wayne Rooney’s side have taken only two points from 24 on their travels.

Watford are home birds too, Tom Cleverley’s side having only dropped two points from 21 at Vicarage Road, but it is six losses in eight on their travels already.

Argyle have conceded in six of their last seven at home, with three of those games bringing wins where both teams scored. Another entertaining home win could be the outcome under the lights at Home Park.
