Bet of the Day
Atalanta to win by over 1.5 goals vs AC Milan – 11/8
Atalanta enter the weekend with a chance to go top of Serie A, at least temporarily, if they can take care of AC Milan in Bergamo.
The 2-0 midweek win at Roma was an 11th in 12 games for Gian Piero Gasperini and his side, their only blemish a scoreless Champions League draw with Celtic when they had enough chances to do plenty of damage.
They are the top scorers in Serie A with 36 goals and have scored at least two goals in every one of those 11 wins since the start of October.
Milan were the designated away team when they beat Inter 2-1 in September but, that aside, it is just one win in five on the road in the league this season for Paulo Fonseca’s side, who go into this game nine points behind their thriving hosts.
Special of the Day
Lautaro Martinez to score first and Inter Milan to win vs Parma – 31/10
Serie A champions Inter Milan are getting back on track after a slow start and they have 10 wins and two draws in their last 12 in all competitions since losing the Milan derby in September.
Top scorer in Italy’s top-flight last season and again as he helped Argentina to Copa America glory in the summer, Lautaro Martinez made a sluggish start this time around, failing to find the net in his first seven outings for club and country after the summer.
The forward has found his touch again since with nine goals, and four of his last five have been game openers. He can break the deadlock at the San Siro and send Inter towards victory against Parma.

Long Shot of the Day
Middlesbrough to beat Burnley & BTTS – 5/1
Burnley are unbeaten this season in the league at Turf Moor, with five wins and three draws, but Scott Parker’s side have found goals hard to come by, registering just four times in their last five assignments here.
Goals were often a problem for Middlesbrough last season, they simply didn’t score enough to earn a play-off berth after a dreadful start, but Michael Carrick’s side appear to have solved that problem now.
They are averaging more than two per game on the road this season and only Norwich City have scored more Championship goals this term than Boro’s tally of 32.
They concede plenty as well, however, eight more than any of the four sides that start this round of games above them in the table.
Omitting a 1-0 home loss against Blackburn, Carrick’s side have rattled in 18 goals in four games since early November.
Aside from Blackburn (eighth, drew 1-1) all of Burnley’s home league games have been against teams currently 13th or lower in the table, including five of the current bottom seven.
The Clarets may struggle to contain them, but given they have just one clean sheet in their last 10, Boro will probably need at least two to win.
