talkSPORT betting tips – Best football bets and expert advice for Sunday 10 November

It is a busy Sunday of football with four Premier League clashes and both Celtic and Rangers in action in the Scottish Premiership, while there are a host of key matches across the big leagues in Europe.

Chelsea entertain Arsenal in a London derby in which the Gunners need to bounce back from successive away defeats to Newcastle and Inter Milan, and while that may be the highlight of an action-packed day on the field, it looks a little too close to call to feature in our three best bets for Sunday’s football.

Bet of the day

Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle – Under 2.5 goals 5/6

Nottingham Forest have shaken up the Premier League this season and find themselves third in the table, so they will be anxious to boost their European ambitions when Newcatle head to the City Ground.

The Tricky Trees claimed a 3-0 win over West Ham the last time they were on the banks of the Trent, but that was the only one of their five league home games this season that has not featured fewer than three goals.

It is also worth noting that the Hammers played the second half with 10 men after Edson Alvarez was sent off, so the margin of victory may have been exaggerated.

Newcastle posted a 1-0 win over Arsenal last week and that was the sixth time in their last seven league and cup games when under 2.5 goals was a winning bet.

These two were also involved in a 1-1 Carabao Cup draw earlier this season, so follow that unders pattern when these two lock horns on Sunday.

Special of the day

Treble – Barcelona, Augsburg and Lazio all to win – 24/5

We cross the continent with a treble that takes in matches in Spain, Germany and Italy.

Barcelona, who are nine points clear at the top of La Liga and have scored 40 goals in their 11 league games, should have few problems at Real Sociedad, who have lost four of their six home league matches this term, including a 2-0 defeat to Osasuna last time out.

Augsburg have collected 10 points from their five home Bundesliga matches this season, including victories in their last two against Borussia Monchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund, and they can see off Hoffenheim who have taken two points from four road games and won just once in eight.

Then complete the treble in Serie A by backing Lazio, who have won nine of their last 10 games, to see off Monza, who have won just one of 11 games this season and have not won in their last 10 at home.

Long shot of the day

Dominic Solanke to score two goals or more in Tottenham vs Ipswich – 16/5

Dominic Solanke had a sticky start to life at Tottenham after his summer move from Bournemouth, but his form is picking up, he is back in the England squad and could fill his boots against promoted Ipswich.

He claimed two goals in Spurs’ last home game, a 4-1 victory over Aston Villa, and was also on target in their 3-2 Europa League defeat at Galatasaray on Thursday.

Solanke can make hay against a Tractor Boys’ defence which has conceded four times in both of their last two league away games at Brentford and West Ham, especially as Spurs have scored at least twice in 18 of 24 league games under Ange Postecoglou.
