Arsenal draw no bet @ 20/21
Arsenal are on a run of three Premier League games without victory and defeats to Newcastle and Bournemouth have put a major dent in the title hopes of Mikel Arteta’s side.
However, the Gunners remain a top-level side and they look excellent value to fire back when they take on Inter Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Arsenal allowed Shakhtar Donetsk only one shot on target in a dominant 1-0 Emirates victory in their latest Champions League tie and the Gunners are unbeaten in Europe this term.
Arteta’s men were clearly the better side when dismissing the challenge of PSG to win 2-0 in north London and that impressive success followed a 0-0 draw at Atalanta .
Arsenal weren’t at the best in Italy when leaving Bergamo with a point and Inter are the strongest side in Serie A, but there is a considerable drop-off in terms of the level of the Italian top-flight’s big-hitters and the Premier League elite.
Arsenal look a great bet to win at San Siro and keeping the draw on side is the way to side with the Gunners.
Special of the day
Atletico Madrid to beat PSG @ 7/2
Atletico Madrid would have hoped for more than three points from their opening three Champions League fixtures, but PSG have hardly dazzled in Europe this term and Atleti aren’t 8/11 chances on Wednesday night for no reason.
PSG were held to a 1-1 draw by PSV at the Parc des Princes in their latest Championship League contest and prior to that the Parisians were comprehensively outplayed when losing 2-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates.
The capital side needed a last-gasp Paulo Gazzaniga own goal to beat Girona 1-0 in their European opener and that doesn’t look like the form of heavy odds-on shots.
Of course, PSG’s domestic form is strong, but Atleti are a cut above most of the opposition Luis Enrique’s men will face in Ligue 1 and the Spanish side look worth a punt to leave Paris with three points.
Long shot of the day
Over 3.5 goals in Red Star v Barcelona @ 20/23
Barcelona have been scoring for fun and another entertaining contest looks likely when the Catalan side head to Crvena Zvezda.
Barca have hit 44 goals in their last 12 matches and the goalscoring potential has to be high with Hansi Flick’s men 1/6 to win in Belgrade.
Crvena Zvezda conceded five against Monaco in their last Champions League tie, they shipped four against Inter Milan and they now run into a rampant Barca side.
