Manchester City are set for their third consecutive FA Cup Final, while Crystal Palace hope it will be third time lucky as they look to lift the trophy for the first time.
Saturday’s Wembley showdown looks a far more even match-up than people would have expected earlier this season and Palace will feel they have a good chance of creating history.

Dangerous Eagles can light up Wembley
Crystal Palace showed in their comfortable 3-0 semi-final win over Aston Villa that their style and formation can work well on the vast Wembley pitch.
Many will point to City’s final experience as a key factor, but that victory over Villa will give them real hope of coming out on top.
Oliver Glasner’s men have won eight of their last 14 matches in all competitions and conceded just three goals in their last five games.
City have not lost in 10 games but haven’t found the form we are used to them showing in the latter stages of the season, highlighted by a 0-0 draw with Southampton last weekend.
Pep Guardiola could be forgiven for having one eye on making sure of Champions League qualification with two league games still left to play and City currently fourth in the standings.
The 2022-23 FA Cup winners have a good head-to-head record against Palace, with City unbeaten in their last 11 meetings.
Three of those though have been draws and it’s worth noting that the Eagles have scored twice in each of their last four games against Guardiola’s men.
Sarr a shining light
It took time for Ismaila Sarr to make an impact at Palace, having joined from Marseille last summer, with his first goal not coming until the 23rd November.
He has made a big impact though in recent months, racking up seven Premier League goals and three in the FA Cup.
Sarr was arguably the star of the show in the 3-0 semi-final victory over Villa, scoring twice and also claiming an assist.
The former Watford man has linked up brilliantly with Eberechi Eze and Jean-Philippe Mateta, with the ability to get in behind the defensive line.
Set-pieces could be crucial
City lead the Premier League in the ‘corners won’ stats this season, with 244 in 36 matches to date.
That’s an average of 6.77 per game, while their opponents have a league average of 4.75 corners per match.
Palace have a real threat from set-pieces, with the Eagles likely to go with three centre-backs – Marc Guehi, Maxence Lacroix and Chris Richards.
The dead-ball delivery of the likes of Eze and Kevin De Bruyne could also have a big impact on the Wembley final.
