Super welterweight world champion Terence Crawford was mixed up with rapper Kendrick Lamar in a hilarious blunder at UFC 306.
‘Bud’ was in attendance for the UFC Noche card at the Las Vegas Sphere with Saudi boxing chief HE Turki Alalshikh.

As the cameras panned to their cage-side seats, Crawford was wrongly labelled as Grammy Award-winning musician, Lamar – much to the disbelief of fans and fighters alike.
“Terence Crawford has evolved into Kendrick Lamar tonight,” wrote former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling on X.
Meanwhile, Crawford took it well, posting a screenshot with the caption: “Damn Kendrick Lamar,” accompanied by two laughing emojis.
One supporter even joked that the error was worthy of somebody getting the sack: “Calling Bud Crawford @kendricklamar is crazy. Fireable offence.”
But Dana White had a different take. “He did kind of look like Kendrick Lamar though, let’s not f*** around,” said the UFC president in his post-fight press conference.
While Crawford watched Merab Dvalishvili snatch the UFC bantamweight title from Sean O’Malley, three miles down the road at the T-Mobile Arena his rival Canelo Alvarez retained his WBC, WBA and WBO super middleweight belts against Edgar Berlanga.
Crawford has been chasing a fight with Canelo for some time and called out the Mexican superstar after his dominant victory on Saturday night.
“Yo Turki, tell them we are going to go for Canelo next,” said Crawford on an Instagram live while sitting next to HE Alalshikh.
“Yes,” replied HE Alalshikh. “Let’s go! Canelo, come on. We are ready.”
Crawford then added: “You heard it from him. Just put me in the game b****.

“Canelo-Crawford, the biggest fight in boxing. But we stay ready though.
“We stay ready, that way we ain’t got to get ready.”
Canelo has stated that he intends to rematch Dmitry Bivol next provided he beats Artur Beterbiev on October 12.
The former pound-for-pound king doesn’t seem massively interested in the fight due to the gulf in weight between the pair but insists he will take on the two-weight undisputed champion if the money is right.
“I think Crawford, don’t get me wrong, is a great fighter but for me in my weight class, it’s an easy fight,” Alvarez said on Sway In The Morning.
“For me, easy money. If the money is right, I’m in…
“They have weight [classes] for a reason. I know in his mind he thinks he can do whatever he wants because he’s a very talented fighter, he’s a very good fighter.
“I like how he fights but that’s why there are weight classes. He knows now.”
