Terry Bradshaw is a legend.
A Hall of Famer who won four Super Bowl rings with the Pittsburgh Steelers, he is one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.

But in 2025, the 76-year-old is more well-known for slipping up on live TV and putting his foot in it during awkward moments.
Bradshaw was involved in another uncomfortable segment during Super Bowl LIX while on the broadcast for Fox Sports.
He was recalling the reactions he got in 1974, when he led the Steelers to their first Super Bowl win, while discussing Eagles signal caller Jalen Hurts and the widespread belief that he’s not among the upper echelons of quarterbacks in the NFL.
Bradshaw then went on a rather bizarre and unfiltered segue discussing his experiences about how the Steelers repeatedly brought in potential replacements for him in the ’70s.
He said: “Then you win a Super Bowl and you go to the parade and here’s what you hear at the parade: ‘Hey Bradshaw. You better win this sucker again next year, you hillbilly or we’ll run your (expletive) out of here. So, don’t ever expect to satisfy [fans].”
The odd outburst left co-hosts Curt Menefee, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, and Jimmy Johnson looking visibly bemused as they looked around at each other.
Fans also caught wind of the awkward moment and shared their thoughts online.
“I love Terry but his retirement from NFL broadcasts is already a few years late,” one fan wrote.
“Yeah I think he should retire now instead of in two years,” a second added.
“Needs to retire,” a third posted.

Others agreed with the point Bradshaw was making, even if the delivery was a little unorthodox.
“He’s not lying, if anything he’s understating his abysmal start in Pittsburgh and the equally awful way fans felt about it,” one fan said.
“Bradshaw truth telling is too much for these suits,” a second added.
It comes after Bradshaw found himself in hot water with one Super Bowl broadcaster after repeating Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni’s x-rated message during the Vince Lombardi Trophy presentation.
Bradshaw has been a television sports analyst and co-host of Fox NFL Sunday since 1994, but admitted during Super Bowl LIX week that he plans to retire in the next few years.
“I told my wife before I left the room a while ago,” Bradshaw said at a Fox Sports press conference in New Orleans before the 2025 edition of the big game.

“I was sitting there and I got two years left at Fox. I’m 76. It’s a young man’s game, I get that. Everybody wants the new thing.
“So I said if we can get to the next Super Bowl, I’ll be 80.
“I think that’s time and that’s 80 years old and that’s pushing it.”
Fox has the broadcasting rights to Super Bowl LIX, and won’t have it again, as Bradshaw mentioned, until 2029 for Super Bowl LXIII.
That is when he plans to ride off into the sunset.
Bradshaw says he has two years remaining on his contract, so he would need to be resigned and extended for two more years if he is hoping to reach his goal.
