Conor McGregor tee’d off on Jake Paul, slating his fight with Mike Tyson while backing the legend to win.
McGregor has yet to secure an official UFC comeback date after withdrawing from his proposed return against Michael Chandler in July, but has been appearing on various media outlets.

In his latest crazy interview, McGregor discussed a number of topics during a live stream including the upcoming fight between rival Paul and heavyweight icon Tyson.
On a Duelbits live stream, the Irishman first held up what he claimed was a ‘marijuana’ product of Tyson to ‘show love’ to the 58-year-old.
Then, he went on a crazy rant about the fight, shouting at fans: “Don’t give a b******s. They’re wearing 14-oz gloves.
“It’s two-minute rounds, is it? It’s two-minute rounds? Who gives a b******s. I hope he [Tyson] rattles that little dope [Paul].
“No one gives a f*”k about him. How is that even in the f***ing Dallas Stadium? What’s going on?”
McGregor then declared he ‘loves to see it’ and was ‘looking forwards to it’ moments later changing his stance on the fight despite the previous criticism.
The Irishman is not the first to openly criticise the event, with an age gap of 32 years between the pair by the time fight night arrives on November 15.
Paul is 26 and in his physical prime taking on a 58-year-old Tyson in a professional bout, with ‘Iron Mike’ not having fought competitively since retiring in 2005.
Tyson has been attempting to prove his fitness, by posting clips of training footage from his camp, but they are just small glimpses into his current life.
He has since admitted he is ‘struggling to walk’ after doing six-round sparring sessions, a worrying sign going into the clash.
Tyson and Paul will meet in a unique battle later in 2024
Despite his physical condition, Tyson has always been confident that he can score a trademark huge KO, given he still possesses an element of his punching power.
In a previous and calmer assessment on the bout, McGregor insisted the fight was simply a bad look for the sport.
“For me, it does set a bad precedent in the industry,” he told James Corden. “Because what you’ve got now is – and I would say this to the young athletes coming up, men and women.
“Don’t aspire to be one of these YouTuber fighters. Aspire for world titles. Aspire for [the Olympics]. That is how you etch your name in history.
Doing these little smash-and-grab fights, you might get a few likes, but there’s nothing substantial to it. It’s hollow.
“It can be profitable, but it’s hollow. And I’m noticing a trend in young fighters coming up that are not even interested in competing in the amateur scene or rising up to win a national title.
“You need the gold on the waist. You need to etch your name on the belt.”
He later added: “It’s a bit strange. My interest is low on it, I don’t know. I don’t understand it. I wish well for Mike.”
Paul will be focused on Tyson, but has forever campaigned for a shot at UFC superstar McGregor.
But the pair are currently highly unlikely to meet in the squared circle, given Paul has bulked up to heavyweight putting a huge deficit to McGregor who wishes to return at 170lbs.
