The Minnesota Vikings debuted their new ‘Winter Warrior’ uniforms on Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears.
Fans had differing opinions.

It is an all-white, iced out look that includes a helmet with a metallic gray stripe.
The franchise says that the metallic gray stripe, “emulates the metal strips on early Viking battle helmets.”
It is the first uniform in the history of the franchise that doesn’t have any gold on it.
Fans weren’t exactly loving them.
Barstool Sports’ personality, Big Cat, posted on X, ‘These Viking uniforms are garbage. They’re not the Vikings in these.’
He then followed it up by toning it down just a bit, saying, ‘New uniforms are fine but the Vikings purple helmets are classic. This is just a no name team.’
Minnesota has had a long and storied history, that includes their iconic purple Viking helmet, but went a different route in designing their alternate uniforms.
One fan posted, ‘Vikings have the worst alternates in the NFL. These are horrid.’
Another fan took aim at the logo at midfield, which was also painted all-white to match the home team’s look.
‘The Vikings helmet and midfield logo just look like the child ran out of purple crayons so they couldn’t finish coloring in the drawing and it’s driving me nuts.’

‘When you have purple in your uniform, there’s no reason to not wear purple. These Vikings unis are atrocious,’ fans continued to chime in.
‘The Vikings white out uniform is the dumbest looking uniform. You cannot even make out the Viking horn on the helmet. They should have done a purple horn on the helmet with a thin yellow trim line’
However, it wasn’t just fans.
On ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown”, Ryan Clark blasted Minnesota’s new look, saying, “These are ugly. They look like Northwestern.”
No offense to Northwestern.
Not every reaction was of course negative, as some praised the new look.
‘Those all white vikings unis and helmets are dynamite,’ one fan said.
‘Really liking these whiteout #Vikings uniforms and logo. It’s giving Game of Thrones white walkers. Eerie and cold. Perfect Minnesota vibes. They should wear these all the time,’ another fan added.
Whether fans like them or not, Minnesota shouldn’t be too worried, as they are 11-2.
It doesn’t matter if they’re wearing white, purple or gold, they just keep winning.
And that’s all that Vikings fans should care about.
