Caitlin Clark is making the most of the WNBA break.

She was in the stands to support her boyfriend Connor McCaffery as Butler stunned Mississippi State 87-77.

McCaffery is an assistant coach at Butler and is clearly doing something right as Mississippi slid to 6-1 with a first loss of the season.

Clark got into the action and was seen shoving her brother Colin to celebrate a huge defensive play as the Bulldogs went 6-1.

She met McCaffery at Iowa, where he was a six-year player, and the pair spent Thanksgiving together.

The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year has lived up to the hype since going pro.

Clark shattered countless NCAA records during her time with the Hawkeyes, claiming the all-time points record.

But 19-year-old freshman Juju Watkins is already dismantling her legacy.

The USC Trojan beat Clark to 1,000 points by two games two weeks ago.

And yesterday, she became the fastest player to 15 games with at least 30 points in the past 10 seasons.

Watkins dropped 34 points, as well as adding six rebounds and four assists against the Saint Louis Billikens to get over the line.

She needed 41 games to hit the mark, one fewer than Clark.

“This is why we call her a goat she’s better than all of them,” commented one fan.

“Man what this kid did is insane,” another posted on X.

“She just keeps breaking all of Caitlin’s scoring records, one after one. Hilarious,” a third wrote.

The Trojan has been compared to the high-profile Indiana Fever superstar after leading USC to a 6-1 start.

But she is keen to focus on her own game and leave the comparisons to others.

“I would say I just do my best to be myself and play my way,” Watkins told Athlon Sports.

“I don’t really think too much about the comparisons or the pressure, but I would say I just go out there and try to have fun, do what I do and continue to work hard.

“I think that’s my mentality always.”

Watkins has already teamed up with Clark after signing an NIL deal with State Farm.

“She made herself available and was like, ‘Whatever you need,’” Watkins told NBC Sports. “I was grateful for her kindness.

“Caitlin is a great player, but she’s also a really good person.”

Watkins is yet to hit Clark up for advice as she looks to forge her own path.

“I’m sure she’s adjusting to the [WNBA], so I don’t want to bother her too much,” she added.

“But yeah, if I ever do really need to, I’ll make sure I reach out.”
