Tommy Fury has officially begun training for his debut in MMA.
The 10-0 boxing prospect recently linked up with one of his old sparring partners, Tom Aspinall, who just happens to be the UFC interim heavyweight champion.

Tyson Fury’s little brother headed to Aspinall’s ‘Evolution Gym’ in St Helens to learn the basics ahead of a potential MMA rematch with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
The Love Island star beat Paul by split decision in February 2023 – but since then there’s been talk of the pair fighting again in MMA under the PFL banner.
The ‘Problem Child’ previously signed a contract to fight for the UFC’s biggest rival before his boxing career took off as he was unable to find a suitable MMA opponent.
Fury told Aspinall he could be ready to debut in a new sport fairly soon.
“I’m gonna smash his face in when I get good at MMA,” he said.
“I’ll beat him in boxing and the cage. Big useless p****.
“I reckon a year, year-and-a-half, two years of training, until I’ll beat him in a fight no problem in the cage.”
“He’s got the funds, he’s got the best sparring partners in the world.
“So, he’s doing alright. But no match for me.
“I swear to you, next time I fight him, I’ll knock him out.

“In MMA, I just want to give him a big fat [knee]. All elbows, no fists.”
Fury took two leg kicks from Aspinall to prepare for his new sport.
The man chasing a fight with Jon Jones wore protective equipment to cushion the blow, but his 25-year-old pal still screamed in pain when his kick connected.
For the second shot, Fury held a kicking pad and squealed as it landed.
Aspinall walked Fury through some ground-and-pound scenarios before declaring ‘He’s a natural’ when the boxer immediately picked up what he was trying to teach him.
It seems like Fury vs Paul 2 in MMA is a genuine possibility.
Before that, Fury is intent on returning to the ring for the first time since picking up a contentious unanimous decision win over KSI last October.
A hand surgery has kept him sidelined since, but Fury is now back punching and is working hard to ensure he gets at least one boxing bout this year.
Oleksandr Usyk will rematch his former world-champion brother on December 21. That appears to be the perfect card for his long-awaited return to the ring.
Only time will tell who Fury will face in his boxing comeback bout.
