Total Football Club eliminated Uganda Premier League entity Express 1-0 out of the 51st edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
The regional side ejected Express 1-0 at the Swinga stadium in Yumbe district on Wednesday, 19th February 2025.
Express has won the Uganda Cup ten times and their endeavors for a 11th title have fallen short.
The Red Eagles have become the second club to get eliminated from the competition this season after Mbale Heroes fell to Simba 2-3 at the round of 64.
Meanwhile, Sports Club Villa advanced to the round of 16 after overcoming a hard fighting Simba 1-0 at Namulonge playground in Gayaza.
Aslam Ssemakula scored the match winner in the 50th minute to ensure qualification.
The Jogoos bundled out Seeta United 3-0 whilst Simba had won 3-2 over Mbale Heroes at the round of 64.
The round of 32 matches will resume on Thursday, 20th February 2025.
