WWE fans have taken to social media to share their frustration over Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s WrestleMania 41 absence.
The wrestling icon last appeared at Elimination Chamber on March 2, and was the catalyst for John Cena turning heel for the first time in over two decades.

Rapper Travis Scott also joined the two stars in the ring as the long-time face stunned fans by brutally attacking Cody Rhodes.
That segment soon became one of the biggest in WWE‘s recent history and it set the tone for a much-hyped WrestleMania build, with many fans speculating that The Rock would be heavily involved in the storyline as it moved towards Sunday night.
But, instead, he hasn’t been since.
The Rock didn’t appear on Raw or SmackDown as Cena and Rhodes went face-to-face in recent weeks, nor did he feature in the main event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Given he set Cena’s heel turn in motion seven weeks ago, many fans have been left confused — and angry — that he didn’t appear.
Instead, it was Scott who interfered and cost Rhodes the title on the Grandest Stage of All.
He took ‘Cross Rhodes’ from Cody, which allowed Cena to get the upper hand and win his 17th world championship — the most all-time in WWE.
In the hours that followed WrestleMania 41, many fans took to social media to vent their frustration over how the main event unfolded, and a theory about The Rock’s involvement soon went viral.
“Big Dwayne just shows up on any random night on a WWE show,” one fan suggested, in a post that has been viewed by just shy of one million people.
“The writers have to write something for him so that he’s happy, without any guarantee that he’s coming back to finish the story.

“Triple H must hate him because there was no mention of him in the speech that he did at the Hall of Fame.”
Others were quick to echo that suggestion, pointing to his appearance at the Bad Blood event last October as another example.
“This is 100% the case. Bad Blood. What was that?” another WWE fan account questioned, responding to the initial viral post.
“What’s the pay off to that? Oh wait, it was never mentioned again.
“He’ll probably turn up in three months to do something random, then it’s dropped.”
As The Rock began to trend for all the wrong reasons on Sunday night, other viewers were simply suggesting he had ‘ruined’ WrestleMania by failing to appear.

“The Rock is the biggest fraud in the history of professional wrestling. He only comes back for his convenience. Truly an awful company man,” an irate fan wrote on X.
“I’m going to say it, they shouldn’t have involved The Rock if they couldn’t use him. Not turning up in any of the build after Elimination Chamber and then not being involved in the match at WrestleMania makes absolutely no sense,” another said.
“At this point I’m so disappointed that I even want The Rock to ever comeback to WWE. Go make your movies, keep lying about how you ‘love wrestling’ but never bother to show up. Thank You Rocky for ruining everything,” a fourth said.
Cena, who won his record 17th world title at WrestleMania 41, urged fans to tune into Raw on Monday night to see how he ‘ruins wrestling’.
But while those comments lean into his heel persona, many fans are suggesting that the The Rock has inadvertently done that job for him already.
