At least two people have been left injured after a shooting at the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl parade.
According to police, the shooting unfolded at 23rd and Spring Garden Streets – less than half a mile from where the Eagles players celebrated their win on stage at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Early reports have suggested that one victim was shot in the leg and was raced to hospital at through the busy scenes.
It’s not yet clear what led to the shooting or if any arrests were made.
More than a million people were expected to be in Philadelphia for their celebrations.
It came just days after mayor of Philadelphia, Cherelle Parker urged fans to stay safe.
She said: “Do not climb any light poles.
“In the midst of all this beauty, all of the sacrifices this team has made to meet this moment, we don’t want it to all go by the wayside.”
Despite the word of caution, fans stood on top of portable toilets and city cars downtown.
The event came just weeks after a college student died falling from a street pole after the Eagles’ won the NFC championship game.
It also comes just one year after one person was killed and 33 were wounded in a mass shooting at last year’s Super Bowl parade for the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Eagles were celebrating their Super Bowl win after recording a 40-22 victory over the Chiefs at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans last weekend.


A large police presence was present along the parade route which stretched from South Philadelphia where the team play to the City Hall and onto the art museum.
Lorries and heavy equipment were tasked with blocking side streets along the route, while schools, city courts and other agencies closed for the occasion.
