Uganda Schools Rugby Association ushers in new executive committee for new term

The Uganda Schools Rugby Association (USRA) elected in place a team of new leaders on the executive committee for a period of two years.

The chairman is Dickson Okello of Makerere College School.

Okello will be deputized by Robson Molo. Wilfred Sseguya Bakaluba shall serve as secretary with Ismail “Miti” Sewaya as treasurer.

The women representative on the executive is Faridah Kayegi.

The four regional representatives are; Richard Wati (central), Patrick Kigenyi (Western), Moses Barasa (Eastern) and Robert Ochakachon (Northern).

The Uganda Schools Rugby Association is responsible for organizing rugby competitions in Ugandan schools and is accountable to the Uganda Rugby Union (URU).

USRA Executive Committee members

The executive committee:

  • Chairman: Dickson Okello
  • Vice chairman: Robson Molo
  • Secretary: Wilfred Bakaluba Sseguya
  • Treasurer: Ismail Sewaya
  • Women representative: Faridah Kayegi

Regional Representatives:

  • Western region: Patrick Kigenyi
  • Eastern region: Moses Barasa
  • Northern region: Robert Ochakachon
