Uganda Women’s second season in the 2025 World Rugby HSBC 7s Challenger Series began with defeat against Colombia.
This was on Day One of the first round of the 2025 World Rugby 7s Challenger Series at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.
The Africa 7s bronze medalists recovered in their second match against Belgium.
Uganda’s Day One Results:
- Uganda 07-24 Colombia
- Belgium 05-29 Uganda
Uganda finished second in Pool C with three points behind Colombia but ahead of Belgium.
They will play for the 5th place on Day Two.

- 1.22 p.m. EAT: Thailand v Uganda
The most interesting bit about Uganda in the tournament is the introduction of a new pair of white and black playing kits designed by Mafro.
