The UMEA Solidarity Games are arguably the biggest Muslim School sports event in the country that brings together all Muslim faith founded schools in Uganda.

These games were established in 1998 but rebranded to UMEA Solidarity Games in 2013.

With the exception of the two grey-patched years (2020 and 2021) during the Coronavirus pandemic, this will be the 10th edition since rebranding.

A number of successful sports personalities have engaged in these games to feature for top elite sporting clubs, the national teams and also played professionally outside Uganda.

As the normal has been over the years, the games are played over the Easter holiday break for many schools.
