Bruno Fernandes has certainly found his form since the sacking of Erik ten Hag.
The Portuguese superstar was making his 250th appearance for Manchester United as he offered a goal and an assist in their Premier League clash with Leicester.
The Manchester United star had been an integral part of Ten Hag’s plans at Old Trafford, holding the captaincy and being the beating heart of the team.
But since the Dutch boss has departed, Fernandes has been unstoppable.
Man United have played four games since he left, with Ruud van Nistelrooy taking caretaker charge of the Red Devils.
In that time, Fernandes has scored a staggering four goals and offered two assists in those fixtures.
It takes his tally to 100 goal involvements in the Premier League.
By comparison, the midfielder failed to score in his last 13 matches under Ten Hag.
In Van Nistelrooy’s final game in charge, Fernandes didn’t disappoint with a stunning curled effort that put Man United 1-0 up against Leicester.
He then found the net again with a header from Noussair Mazraoui’s cross – however the goal was eventually given as an own goal by Victor Kristiansen.
Writing on social media, one fan said: “Ruud van Nistelrooy has unlocked Bruno Fernandes.”
Another added: “It’s almost like when you get Bruno Fernandes closer to goal, you see the best version of him, not really that difficult Mr. Ten Hag.”
Since joining Man United, Fernandes has been a prolific force in front of goal.
In 250 games for the club, the 30-year-old has scored 83 goals and provided 73 assists.

He’ll be hoping to improve that tally once Amorim takes charge.
The Portuguese boss will join from Sporting Lisbon next week, with his first match taking place after the international break.
That game comes on Sunday, November 24 with a trip to Ipswich Town.
