UPDF FC stunned BUL FC as the two teams faced off on Wednesday at the Lugazi Stadium in Najjembe, Mabira Forest.
The Army Side secured a 2-1 win against BUL FC who have blown hot and cold since the start of the season.
Right from the start, the Bombo based outfit showed character and zeal to fight for all three points.
The visitors took the lead in the 26th minute through Christopher Kawagu.
The winger made a good run on the right wing before firing past goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa from a tight angle.
Whereas BUL came close on so many occasions, the lack of efficiency in front of goal came haunting them again like it has been the case this season.
Substitute Brian Kalumba eventually sealed victory for UPDF FC, doubling their advantage in the 87th minute.
A quick start from a corner between Shakib Mayanja and Joseph Jjanjali saw the former? go past BUL FC defenders before laying up Kalumba who finished from close range.
The result takes UPDF FC to sixth place on 16 points while BUL FC drop to ninth position on 14 points.
