Vipers vs Express – Kitende 7pm

Following a winless start, UPDF and Lugazi face off at Bombo with both targeting first three points of the season.

The hosts survived dropping all points in their opening match when they salvaged a draw against Maroons with a late strike.

For Lugazi, they got a rude welcome to the topflight with a 3-0 defeat at home against Kitara.

“We were timid especially in the first half and gave away cheap goals,” Lugazi coach Saddiq Sempigi told the pre-match press conference.

“But the second half was good as we dominated and controlled possession and so we want to build on that,” he added.

“UPDF is a tough opponent and we expect a tough match but good thing is that they have a good pitch which is very playable.”

Richard Ayiko missed the first game through illness but is now available and fit to feature for the visitors who missed Rogers Atube through suspension.
