3D speed comparisons are now all the rage online, and one of the most featured athletes has now had his say.

The fastest man of all time, Usain Bolt, has been the subject of numerous viral simulations, being matched up against Cristiano Ronaldo, Tyreek Hill and even an ostrich.

More often than not, the retired Jamaican comes out on top, given the fact that he’s the fastest person ever over both 100 metres and 200 metres.

The eight-time Olympic gold medalist is one of the greatest athletes of all time, with his 9.58 world record 100 metre time part of sporting folklore.

However, his record comes crashing down when he branches out to the animal kingdom.

Bolt already lost to an ostrich that clocked a time 7.3 seconds in a simulation by Vividat that quickly went viral.

That’s not the end of the bad news for Bolt either, who will be well advised to stay in his car next time he’s on a safari.

The retired 38-year-old had his top speed compared with even more animals over 500 metres, and it was a massacre.

The Jamaican finished eighth out of eight competitors in the simulation, with the fastest mammal on earth, a cheetah, unsurprisingly coming out on top with a time of 16 seconds, and a top speed of 70 miles per hour.

An antelope and lion finished off the medal positions, while Bolt’s wooden spoon finish of 50 seconds was well behind his closest competitors, a mountain goat and jackrabbit who clocked in a time of 37.5 seconds

The latest simulation unsurprisingly also went viral, but the difference was this time that Bolt has had his say.

Responding to the clip on social media, he simply put the word ‘Ouch’ with a winking emoji, admitting a rare defeat for someone who isn’t familiar with losing.

While he became the fastest man of all-time, he did so without ever running laps.

In a vox-pop like interview uploaded on TikTok in March, Bolt was asked if he ever ran a 5k or 10k during his ‘easy days’, presumably those with less intense training sessions.

The now 38-year-old appeared amused, shaking his head and saying: “No, no.”

The interviewer then asked: “You’ve never run a lap,” to which the Jamaican responded by continually shaking his head

He then revealed the furthest he had pushed himself: “I ran a 800 [metres].”
