- Mbale Heroes vs Vipers SC – Mbale 4pm
- KCCA vs SC Villa – Lugogo 7pm
Vipers have an opportunity to return to the top of the premier league table in Mbale but could do so without co-coaches John Luyinda alias Ayala and Fred Muhumuzza.
The duo is attending an assessment part of the CAF A coaching course at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru and it remains to be seen whether they will be given an off day to go oversee things against relegation fighting Mbale Heroes.
Already, UPDF, Police and Maroons have played without their head coaches who are part of the course too.
Only two points behind leaders NEC who are on 27 points, victory for the Venoms at the Municipal stadium will elevate them to the top of the standings.
Allan Okello, Milton Karisa and the enterprising Karim Watambala will be key for the visitors who have dropped six points in their last three home matches including the last outing when they drew 1-1 with BUL FC.
On the other hand, Mbale Heroes will look to pick their third win of the season after they beat Villa and Bright Stars at the same venue earlier in the campaign.
A win will take them to 14th place and just one points below safety positions on the 16-team table.
Elsewhere on the day, giants KCCA and SC Villa face off at MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo in a late kick off under the lights.
