- UPDF vs Mbarara – Bombo 4pm
- Wakiso Giants vs Lugazi – Wakisha 4pm
Steven Bengo wants to build on the point against Express as Wakiso Giants host Lugazi at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium, Wakisha on Wednesday.
The Purple Sharks have gone four matches without a win and haven’t scored in any of those matches with three ending in defeats.
“We have worked on our finishing since scoring has been our biggest problem,” said head coach Bengo. “We are not going to change our approach but we believe we are going to win,” he added.
On facing Lugazi who are currently on form with two victories and a draw, Bengo admits they will come motivated.
“They will come motivated after their recent turn in events and having beaten us in pre-season, they will be confident but we are ready.”
The hosts, 12th on the standings with 8 points are below The Leaders by a single position although both sides have same points.
Bengo still misses players including Marvin Nyanzi, Herbert Asiimwe, Lawrence Bukenya, Rahmat Ssenfuka and Alex Komakech who are injured.
Elsewhere, UPDF host Mbarara City at Bombo with either side targeting redemption.
