However, Sabalenka appeared unaware the exchange was a prank as her and her coaches were approached by an angry customer.

The incident occurred at a restaurant in Miami, with the Belarussian staying in the city after her final victory on Saturday.

She beat Jessica Pegula 7-5, 6-2 to claim the 19th singles title of her career.

Sabalenka was joined for dinner by members of her coaching team as well as boyfriend Georgios Frangulis.

The group were all smiles at their table before a seemingly angry man approached the party.

Footage of the exchange showed the customer asking them to leave the restaurant immediately as he fumed: “You’re not the only ones waiting for the table.”

Taken aback, Sabalenka calmly told the man to ‘chill’ before he added: “Wrap it up. Guys, I’m not trying to be rude, but there are other people waiting for this table.”

Performance coach Jason Stacy then responded: “And we are here first, so that’s too bad I guess.”

Meanwhile, Frangulis asked: “Do you realise who you are talking to? Do you know who this is? Do you know that she’s like the queen of Miami?”

The enraged customer replied by saying: “I don’t care who it is! I’m just saying that I also have a table.

“I’m just asking if you guys can speed it up. I know the owner and he can come out and get this table.”

A member of staff then appeared in an attempt to calm the situation, but only appeared to make the customer more agitated.

Sabalenka jokingly responded by holding up her plate of food and asking: “Do you want a snack?”

However, the customer’s antics turned out to all be staged for their TikTok page.

The man, whose real name is Aris Yeager, shared the video to his account called The European Kid.

Yeager boasts 1.9million followers on the platform, where he makes skits acting entitled and flaunting his wealth in public.

As for Sabalenka, she is now set for a well-earned break from the court.

The 26-year-old is not expected to compete until the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart later this month.

Sabalenka will kick-off her clay court season at the indoor event as the top seed alongside the likes of Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff.

The tournament begins on April 14 and is set to run through to the final six days later.
